Poyskinaksin Face Painting Ceremony – Thursday, June 11 from 9:15 AM - 2:45 PM  

On Thursday, June 11, Piitoayis Family School will welcome Elders Agnes, Rose, and Delphine for our Poyskinaksin Face Painting Ceremony. This special ceremony is an opportunity for students to learn through Blackfoot teachings, protocol, offering, and respectful participation. Students will attend with their class during their scheduled time in the Family Room. 

Consent forms were sent home by classroom teachers, and a PDF copy is also attached for families who may need another copy. Consent forms must be returned before students are able to have their faces painted. Families who would like to attend during their child’s scheduled time are asked to RSVP with the school office so we can plan for seating and space.

1:00–1:20 p.m. – Grade 1/2, Isaac 
1:25–1:45 p.m. – Grade 1/2, Patrice 
1:50–2:10 p.m. – Grade 1/2, Amber 
2:15–2:35 p.m. – Kindergarten, Miss Mel
