On Friday, September 20 PFS is humbled to offer another Face Painting Ceremony with Moa’tokii Elders Rose Fox and Agnes First Charger, and Delphine & John Pipestem, who are Horn Grandparents. The red ochre and buffalo fat used on your face is a blessing for you and your children. During this ceremony PFS invites families to apply for participation. PFS will not be opening this ceremony to all students on their own, it will be on a family basis. If you decide, as a family unit, that this is something you would like to participate in, your child will be called down from class to participate alongside you. Later in the school year, PFS will be organizing another Face Painting Ceremony where all students (with signed permission forms) will have the chance to participate as a class. Due to time constraints, PFS will only be able to welcome the first 30 families that email jlrivard@cbe.ab.ca. PFS will be holding two time slots—one from 9:00 - 10:15am, one from 10:15 – 11:30am. Once you have emailed, please wait for an email to confirm your spot for September 20.
