Oki, Tansi, Umba-wathtich, Danit’ada, Aanii, Hello PFS Families and Caregivers,

CUPE Strike

Due to ongoing labour action, CUPE Local 40 has withdrawn their services since Monday, February 24. During strike action, CBE is prioritizing in-person learning. We are committed to supporting student learning and well-being while maintaining safe and welcoming school environments for students, staff, and families. All CBE schools and buildings remain open and classes will continue as usual. However, a strike will have an impact on schools and operations. Please make sure that children are picked up in unison with bus times.

Moto (Spring) is Nearly Here!

Moto means spring in Blackfoot. The Spring equinox on March 20 will mark the first day of the season, bringing with it promises of new life, growth, and transformation. Na'a (Mother Earth) will begin to wake up and our non-human relations will share seasonal teachings for us to learn from. If we are wisely aware, we will notice ducks returning during the next lunar cycle; this is sa'aiki'somm (duck moon).
