Oki PFS Families,

As we move into the Flower Blossom Moon of May, Aapistsisskitsaato’s, we are starting to see a blanket of green cover the land around us. Gentle rain falls to cleanse the land and usher in new life. The buds beginning to arrive remind us that as a new season arrives it is also an opportunity for a fresh start. Motoyi (Spring) is a time of growth, change, and new beginnings—we can observe these in the world around us but also see this as an opportunity for ourselves to move forward in a good way, intentionally making the choice to grow and change in ways that are helpful, honest, and brave. We see so much growth happening in the students at school—in spirit, heart, body, and mind—and we will continue to support and honor them as ever-changing and growing beings. Together, at school and at home, we can nurture them as they blossom!

Hand to Heart,

Crystal Good Rider & Shauna Penner
Principal & Assistant Principal
